Welcome

It’s my pleasure to welcome you to Hamilton for the NZ Airports Hui 2024 from 12-14 November.

Coming off our largest annual conference ever last year in Christchurch, we’re going to make this year even better.

Our theme for 2024 is Stronger Network – Better New Zealand. We’ll bring together speakers, panels and workshops to discuss the health of our airport and aviation system and what we can do to make sure it is delivering for New Zealand.

We know that the NZ Airports Hui is a key opportunity for airports and aviation partners to build their knowledge and capacity every year. With this in mind, as well as our high-level plenary sessions, we’re organising focused breakout sessions for each afternoon, covering technical and operational issues, commercial development, sustainability and security. In this way we hope everyone will come away from the conference with real practical takeaways.

Our trade exhibition is back, so you’ll have an opportunity to see the latest from aviation business and corporate partners throughout the conference. And of course our networking dinner and NZ Airports Awards night are not to be missed.

The day before the Hui, on 11 November, we will hold our first Women in Aviation and Infrastructure event. Supported by Amadeus, this event will showcase the importance of growing diversity in aviation, and will provide attendees with networks, skills and support for developing their careers in the aviation and infrastructure sectors.

It’s going to be a great week. Register early, and keep checking back for updates on our speakers and programme.

See you in the Mighty Waikato!
