NZ Airports Judging Panel 2023

NZ Airports are delighted to have these leaders from tourism, infrastructure and aviation join the judging panel for 2023.

Blake Lepper is the General Manager, Infrastructure Delivery at the New Zealand Infrastructure Commission.  Blake has a background in the delivery of major infrastructure projects.  He has hands on experience across the project life cycle, including strategic planning, business case development, design management, procurement, and commissioning.  He joined Te Waihanga after several years supporting the Government on the recovery and regeneration of Christchurch following the 2010/2011 earthquakes.

Rebecca Ingram is the Chief Executive of the Tourism Industry Association.  Rebecca joined TIA from Tourism New Zealand (TNZ).  Rebecca has had various roles at TNZ, including General Manager of New Zealand and Government Relations.  Rebecca was responsible for TNZ’s PR and Major Events.  She led a global team showcasing the best of what New Zealand has to offer to visitors.  Rebecca has 20 years of leadership, marketing and communications expertise.  She is experienced in delivering successful business strategies, engagement and advocacy programmes and leading complex transformation.

We are very pleased to have the expertise of James Goodwin, Chief Executive of the Australian Airports Association on the judging panel.  James has led the AAA since 2020 and brings significant experience to the role from his work in transport, consumer advocacy and public policy.  The AAA represents 340 airports and 150 corporate members in Australia.
