Technical Director GHD contaminated land practitioner

Mark is a Christchurch-based Technical Director and contaminated land practitioner at GHD who has worked with a wide variety of contaminants in his 25 years of experience. Since 2017, Mark has been working with PFAS chemical impacted sites, including a number of airport sites.

PFAS projects have ranged from designing and directing site investigation projects to asset decontamination and regulatory advice. These projects have involved close work across with industrial clients, national regulators and local trade waste operators. Mark has presented on PFAS issues at ALGA Contaminated Land Conferences, presented on foam disposal issues at an EPA Seminar on Fire Fighting Foams and at the NZ Fire Conference.
